4 things to do to stay productive even on the go
Everytime I had to go out shopping with Rashmi or go for a walk with Jia or be away from my desk, I used to feel I was not being productive. The sense of wanting to get things done was always taking my mind away from being in the present moment.
Here are the 4 things I came up with to help me be productive even on the go…
- Always make sure you carry a pair of earphones because with that you can listen to audiobooks and catch up on reading which you could not have done when you are at home working all the time.
- Make a list of the prospects that you need to follow up for closing the deal or to take the payment. Or, make a list of clients who you want to catch up and ask them how they’re doing. Just having a call to help them if they need anything because these calls can give you new ideas for your next product or new ideas for your content. Staying in touch with your clients always is a win-win strategy.
- Write down the ideas you have in your head whilst on your go — you might get inspired by anything — by a museum or by nature, or a product in a shopping mall can inspire you to get ideas. All you have to do is find a cafe to sit at and write down your ideas. I use Google Keep which is a brilliant app.
- This is an excellent opportunity to create some videos using your mobile phone. I use this time to create TikTok videos because they’re so simple and easy to use. You can create videos that are just 45 seconds to 60 seconds long. Creating this content is amazing to have on your social media platform. You will feel great when you see these videos add up and subscribers trickling in.
This is how you stay productive and every time you do any one of these four things, it directly contributes to the growth of your business.
It directly works in your favour to get established as a coach and also gives you more confidence that you are able to get things done without having to sit in front of a computer or have a desk and you can do this on the go.
